من أجل كوباني وأهلها، انطلقت في دمشق مبادرة إنسانية من أصحاب الأيادي البيضاء محمّلة بالخير والعطاء؛ حيث تم تقديم أربعة أطنان من التمور كدعمٍ كريم من مبادرة أهل الشام إلى مؤسسة سلام للأمل، وذلك بهدف مساندة العائلات النازحة داخليًا في مدينة كوباني، وتخفيف الأعباء عنهم في ظل الظروف الصعبة منذ اللحظة الأولى، باشر فريق السلام جميع التنسيقات والاتصالات اللازمة لضمان إيصال هذه المساعدات إلى مستحقيها قبل حلول شهر رمضان المبارك، لتصل إلى نحو 1300 عائلة تعيش ظروفاً إنسانية بالغة الصعوبة وتواجه نقصاً حاداً في الغذاء. كانت رحلة الشحن من دمشق إلى كوباني شاقة وطويلة، لكن التفاني كان العنوان الأبرز، إيماناً بأن الأمانة لا تكتمل إلا بوصولها بأمان إلى أهلها. ومنذ لحظة وصول الشحنة يوم الاثنين، يعمل فريق سلام للأمل بجدٍّ وتفانٍ لتوزيع المساعدات والتخفيف من معاناة الأسر المتضررة، وبثّ الأمل في هذه الظروف العصيبة. هكذا تُصنع قصص النجاح الإنسانية… عندما تتكاتف مبادرات الخير، وتلتقي القلوب قبل الطرق، ويصل العطاء إلى 1300 أسرة قبل حلول رمضان. كل الشكر والتقدير لمبادرة أهل الشام، ولفريق سلام للأمل، ولكل من ساهم في إنجاح هذه الرحلة الإنسانية.
A Humanitarian Success Story from Kobani… When Ahl Al-Sham Creates Hope
For Kobani and its people, a humanitarian initiative was launched in Damascus by generous donors. Four tons of dates were kindly provided by Ahl Al-Sham Initiative to Salam for Hope Foundation to support internally displaced families in Kobani. From the very first moment, the Salam team carried out all necessary coordination to ensure the assistance reached those in need before the holy month of Ramadan, benefiting around 1,300 families living in extremely difficult conditions and facing severe food shortages. The journey from Damascus to Kobani was long and challenging, yet dedication prevailed—driven by the belief that responsibility is fulfilled only when aid safely reaches its rightful recipients. Since the shipment arrived on Monday, the Salam for Hope team has been working tirelessly to distribute the assistance, alleviate suffering, and bring hope to affected families. Together for the Health of Displaced People: Support from the World Health Organization and Dedicated Volunteer Field Efforts
In light of the current circumstances and the significant gap in healthcare service delivery within displacement shelters, the urgent need for effective health interventions to meet the basic needs of displaced populations has become increasingly evident. With the generous support of the World Health Organization (WHO) – Qamishli Office, and through the dedicated efforts of the volunteer medical team of Salam for Hope Organization, the Health Program continues to deliver essential Primary Health Care (PHC) services in shelters, aiming to alleviate the suffering of displaced families and improve their access to vital healthcare services. 🔹 Services provided include:▪️ General medical consultations▪️ Maternal and child health services▪️ Vital signs monitoring (blood pressure, blood glucose, temperature, weight)▪️ Early detection of child malnutrition cases▪️ Provision of essential medications▪️ Health awareness and education sessions These interventions are implemented as part of the ongoing emergency health response to ensure the continuity of essential healthcare services in shelters and to mitigate health risks associated with displacement.
