More About us

We are a local, independent, non-profit humanitarian organization committed to empowering and supporting communities through essential development and relief projects, operating according to core humanitarian principles.

 

Established in 2015 as the Peace and Civil Society Center, our organization was re-branded as the Salam Organization in early 2023, and officially licensed as the Salam For Hope Foundation in Damascus at the beginning of 2025.

 

Our main office is in Al-Hasakah, with additional offices in Raqqa and Deir Ezzor, and a mobile team operating in Damascus and Latakia. We are dedicated to fostering lasting positive change across Syria’s Northeast and beyond.
