Within the framework of the “From Crisis to Self-Reliance” project in the Abu Khashab area, Salam for Hope Foundation continues its efforts to support sustainable livelihoods and empower rural communities.
During November 2025, a rural compost production activity was launched in the targeted villages of Al-Siha, Al-Amiya, Al-Hajji, Kharba North and South, Abu Kabira, Fanijin, and Sgho Al-Obeidat, aiming to improve soil fertility and enhance agricultural production through environmentally friendly and cost-effective practices.
On 19–20 November, compost production tools were distributed to 500 beneficiaries, alongside the delivery of specialized training and capacity-building sessions for livestock breeders, ensuring the optimal use of tools and the application of sustainable agricultural practices.
This intervention contributes to strengthening food security, improving income, and supporting rural households on their path toward long-term self-reliance, serving as a practical step toward more inclusive and sustainable development.
