For Kobani and its people, a humanitarian initiative was launched in Damascus by generous donors. Four tons of dates were kindly provided by Ahl Al-Sham Initiative to Salam for Hope Foundation to support internally displaced families in Kobani.

From the very first moment, the Salam team carried out all necessary coordination to ensure the assistance reached those in need before the holy month of Ramadan, benefiting around 1,300 families living in extremely difficult conditions and facing severe food shortages.
The journey from Damascus to Kobani was long and challenging, yet dedication prevailed—driven by the belief that responsibility is fulfilled only when aid safely reaches its rightful recipients.
Since the shipment arrived on Monday, the Salam for Hope team has been working tirelessly to distribute the assistance, alleviate suffering, and bring hope to affected families.
This is how humanitarian success stories are made…
When goodwill initiatives unite and support reaches 1,300 families ahead of Ramadan.
Sincere thanks to Ahl Al-Sham Initiative,
the Salam for Hope team,
and everyone who contributed to making this humanitarian mission possible.
