After a busy week of discussions and collaboration, we concluded the UNSILENCE Forum, which ran for several days and brought together human rights defenders and activists from more than 15 countries across Europe and the Mediterranean region. The forum followed the completion of The Nonviolence Factory (TNF) program, which focused on advanced training in nonviolent resistance, developing strategies to confront authoritarianism, and strengthening the capacities of civil society organizations. Salam for Hope participated—represented by its Executive Director—in both programs, alongside more than 50 activists and organizations from the region. Together, we discussed shared challenges such as the rise of authoritarianism, restrictions on freedoms, and systemic violence, and we developed collective visions and strategies for nonviolent resistance and the protection of civic space. We are proud to represent our organization in this international gathering, and proud of all defenders of justice and human rights. Together toward a stronger and freer civic space.Your Attractive Heading
